Viti Levu is the largest of the Fijian islands and it’s home to its Capitol in Suva as well as to the majority of their population. While we didn’t spend a who lot of time traveling the island we did get to see some of the larger cities such as Suva, Nadi and Lautoka. We also used Port Denarau as our base for provisioning while in the area. The marina there is hard to get into because, well, if you aren’t a mega yacht you just don’t seem to get preference. But, we did enjoy the port area and the anchorage outside the port was fine.
