From White Island off the east coast near the Bay of Plenty to the Tongariro National Park in the south, there are literally dozens of thermal parks. Whether you want to jump into a crystal clear hot thermal bath or cover yourself in the healing hot mud or just take a walk to see the colorful silica terraces there’s something for you.
We spent a crisp, winter morning at the Orakei Korako Thermal Park and found some of God’s most incredibly and awe-inspiring beauty. Here’s a few of the images from our trip.
