Caleta Partida is a wonderful and picturesque anchorage located 21 nautical miles north of La Paz. It is part of the Natural Marina Park at Islas Espíritu Santa and Partida. We love this place so much that we spent five days there and went back again about a week later for a few days. The fishing was great and the views were breathtaking.

There are a couple of fishing camps that dot the shoreline and the water is so clear you can see down well over 20 feet. This is one of my top five places we’ve visited this summer.

There’s a cut to the other side of the island that is just to the right of the the beach in the middle there. Only pandas and dinks can get through it though.

Yes, I’m wearing a SV Karvi hat. Sometimes you have to take one for the team. SV Karvi belongs to Dan & Nancy Berkey…my cousins. They gave it to me so I have to wear it sometimes! LMAO

Dan caught a Cabrilla…was too small to keep but they are great to eat if you get a good size one.
