New Zealand is a yachting paradise with over 1.5 million adults participating in some form of recreational boating each year. Auckland, known as the “city of sails”, holds the title for the most yachts per capita in the entire world. This should come as no surprise when you realize that this island nation has over 16,000 km of beautiful coastline and so many beautiful fjords and anchorages to enjoy. This is the place to go to have your chain or anchor re-galvanized. We had our anchor done here in 2018 and our anchor chain done in 2019. They will even pick up and deliver if necessary.
BCE worked on our windless motor part. This machine shop is the perfect place to go if you need any machining services while you are here.
Need a new sail? Dave at Caibre Sails is “the guy” in Whangerie. When other sail lofts are having blanks made overseas and shipped to them to finish, Dave and his team are making theirs from start to finish right here. Dazzler’s new mainsail is being made there this year.

DML is the one stop shop for diesel injections, fuel injectors and turbo charger maintenance. We had Dazzler’s fuel injectors serviced here. Nice people with excellent service.
NMM built an exhaust elbow for our lift silencer and has done several other welding projects for us. They are fast and friendly.

Your life raft is not something you ever want to need but if you do, you want it to be in perfect working order. We had our serviced here and were very happy with them.
Whangarei Marine Services offers a comprehensive marine engineering service, including sales, installation, general maintenance and repair work. Dazzler’s water pump was serviced here. It’s also the place in town to go if you are looking for Yanmar parts for your engine.
