We spent a lot more time here than we planned due to our generator dying when we arrived in Hiva Oa. We ordered one from the states from here and had to wait for it to be delivered. It cost as much to have it delivered as it did for the generator itself! ARGHHH!
But we did make the most of our time here. We spent several weeks in Taiohae Bay and also traveled around to Daniel’s Bay which was made famous by the “Survivor” TV show.
