Kauehi, Tuamotus

Kauehi was the first atoll we entered in the Tuamotus. Fortunately it was a pretty easy one with not too bad of a current. The water was the most beautiful we’d seen yet as Jilly was on the bowsprit saying she was seeing the bottom at over 100′!

We had the anchorage all to ourselves for the first couple of days which was wonderful. We snorkeled but found the reef here to be in some distress. That said, it was still a fantastic visit!
