We left Banderas Bay, Mexico on March 25th, 2018 and sailed for 25 days before we arrived in Hiva Oa, Marquesas. our passage was pretty smooth all things considered. Of course we spent a couple of months preparing and doing maintenance before we left. Dan worked on the mechanical stuff outside and Jilly on the inside preparing pre-cooked, boil in a bag meals and finding places to store all the provisions we brought on board.
We had just three hiccups along the way and each was expertly handled by Captain Dan. Here’s a few of the pics from our passage.
